North Eleuthera Airport is a Port of Entry for private flights, with a 4,500-foot runway, no tower and currently no gas. However, plans are afoot to provide gas and open a jet center.

Getting to Eleuthera
From the U.S.
You can easily reach Harbour Island by flying into Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, then connecting to a US Airways or Continental flight to North Eleuthera. Many vacationers and residents fly private planes into the North Eleuthera Airport (MYEH). There are private charter planes available as well. North Eleuthera Airport has a landing strip of 6,000 feet and lights that permit night landing.
From Europe
If you are coming to Harbour Island from Europe, you can fly to Nassau from London or Paris.
From Nassau
Bahamas Fast Ferries can take you from from Nassau to Eleuthera, and then on to Harbour Island.
Traveling from Eleuthera to Harbour Island
Once on Eleuthera, it is quick and easy to get to Harbour Island; it's a ten-minute cab ride (approximately $4-5 per person) from the airport to the boat dock, and a relaxing ten-minute water taxi ride ($4-5 per person) to the island of your dreams. Land and water taxis are always available during the day.
